Healthy Apple Pie

How many of you LOVE something sweet? (I am totes raising my hand too.) Sometimes, we just need a little something. That doesn’t mean we have to blow our good eating plan off track, we can make substitutions for some of our favorite things and make it work!

What you need:

  • Apple

  • 1 Cup of Old Fashioned Oats

  • Cinnamon

  • Sugar Substitute (if the apple is not sweet enough)

  • Cool Whip (Low Fat) (Optional)

What to do:

  1. Oven on 350

  2. Slice the apple

  3. Lay half the oats, put the sliced apple, top with remaining oats

  4. Add cinnamon (sugar substitute if using)

  5. Bake for 12 minutes, stir, and bake for 10 more. (You may have to bake more, depending on how soft you want your apples)

  6. Top with Cool Whip if using
